Pakaian setengah telanjang hanya memakai kain samping songkek dan songkok.
Saya percaya kita tidak berpakaian begitu. Tidak sesuai Songkok  digayakan dengan pakaian " separuh bogel".

Berharap Mister International Malaysia Organisation perlu melakukan kajian terlebih dahulu.

Mister International contestants in their National Costume. Our representative, Mr CJ Lee is wearing "songket samping" and "songkok". Its good to see when the organization took initiative to bring the culture of Malaysia in the eyes of the world. Nevertheless, in our opinion that the costume looks incomplete and unappropriate without the long pants. As we all know that the "songkok" is very significant to the Malay Muslim Man which normally worn for prayer as well as for religious occasions. We think that the organization of Mister International Malaysia should be more tactful and sensitive in selecting the idea for the National Costume. Last but not least, please accept our sincere apologies for criticizing the outfit while Mr. CJ Lee is still there with the sash of Malaysia competing for the prestigous title.

Sensitiviti org melayu harus dijaga . BAJU MELAYU tinggi nilai estitikanya ... jatuh nilai harga diri sebuah kostum baju Melayu ... songkok digunakan untuk solat atau upacara keagamaan serta upacara rasmi protokol seolah olah dipermainkan ... begitu juga samping.
